Savannah Lai

Hi everyone! I am Savannah, a second-year LLB student at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU). I am cheerful, humorous, and outgoing and I enjoy dancing and doing workouts during my free time.

Serving as the Council Vice Chairperson, as well as the Acting Internal Vice President of the Provisional Executive Committee of the Law Students’ Society of the CityU Students’ Union, I bridge the communication between the school and students. Apart from my contributions to the student body, I have also participated in external activities such as the Joint University Mooting Festival and the Hong Kong Human Rights Moot Competition. Outside the school, I have shadowed lawyers at a local law firm and barristers’ chambers, focusing on practice areas such as conveyancing and civil litigation.

Being a student, a mooter, or an intern, I conduct legal research when writing essays, drafting skeletons, and preparing bundles. Understanding that legal research for academic and practical tasks is of paramount importance, I am eager to promote the use of LexisNexis products on campus as a LexisNexis Student Ambassador.
