Ruby Leung

Hi everyone, this is Ruby. I am a Year 2 LLB student at the University of Hong Kong and it is my pleasure to become one of the LexisNexis Student Ambassadors this year. Apart from my passion for legal studies, I love resin art, graphic design, and music, especially playing the alto recorder and the piano.

As an awardee of the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Prize, I am glad to further discover my interest in the legal field during its mentorship programme. With exclusive mini-pupillage and marshalling experience, I have indeed broadened my horizons in both civil litigation and criminal proceedings, where legal research serves as an indispensable part in the preparation of cases. The internship where I engaged at a legal technology company also brought me to realise that legal research is crucially important to not only legal practitioners and law students, but also to small and medium-sized enterprises.

It is my honour to serve as a student ambassador of LexisNexis Hong Kong and I am eager to promote it to my peers. Looking forward to seeing you at our coming events!
