Christy Suen

Hello. This is Christy Suen, a current Year 4 BSS (G&L) & LLB student from the University of Hong Kong. It is my great honor to have become one of the LexisNexis Student Ambassadors this year.

I am passionate about learning substantive and procedural laws, the legal system and the discrepancies between theories and realities. In particular, I am very interested in public law, whereby I engaged in a number of mini-pupillages and internships with focuses placed on constitutional and administrative law, as well as commercial law, tort law, criminal law and refugee law. Apart from gaining realistic work experiences, legal education is another area I am devoted to. I have been part of the Rule of Law Education Project and the Clinical Legal Education where I got the opportunities to utilize my legal knowledge to assist in legal disputes and to promote the essence of the rule of law to the general public.

I aspire to become a knowledgeable, reliable and compassionate legal profession, and my aspiration drives me to join the LexisNexis Student Ambassador Program where I can on one hand have my legal research skills polished, on the other hand, assist my fellows when they need a helping hand.
