Yvonne's journey in the legal field began at Haldanes, where she discovered her passion for criminal litigation. Her exceptional skills and dedication led her to become the only associate retained by the firm's criminal department that year. In 2014, she co-founded Morley Chow Seto, where she continued to excel in criminal defence litigation. Her relentless drive and proven expertise earned her the position of the firm's youngest Equity Partner in 2022.

In the same year, she was admitted as a lawyer in Western Australia and passed the Second Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination. In April 2023, Yvonne co-founded Tang & Ku, a boutique law firm that quickly rose to prominence, being recognized by Doyle's Guide 2023 as one of the leading criminal firms in Hong Kong. Yvonne herself was recognized as a Leading Criminal Lawyer, making her one of only two female solicitors to receive this honour.

Beyond her legal work, Yvonne's leadership extends to managing the firm's marketing campaigns and internship programme, inspiring others with her wisdom and kindness. She is also committed to elevating the legal industry through her participation in the University of Hong Kong (HKU) Free Legal Advice Scheme, providing free legal advice to the public and mentoring law students.
