Ryan has over ten years of experience in handling some of the most significant and complicated capital markets transactions in Hong Kong, including:

• the first de-SPAC transaction in Hong Kong, where he represented CMB International, HSBC and UBS, as sponsors to the de-SPAC transaction involving the business combination of Aquila Acquisition Corporation (7836.HK) with ZG Group, a leading digital steel trading platform in the PRC;

• the first GDR listing on the SIX Swiss Exchange registered on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market, where he acted for Zhejiang HangKe Technology (688006.Shanghai), a leading solution provider of lithium-ion cell post-processing systems. This transaction won the Equity Market Deal of the Year award from Asian Legal Business; and

• the first Hong Kong listing to adopt a dual-class share structure, where he advised Xiaomi Corporation (1810.HK), a leading consumer electronics and smart manufacturing company. This transaction won the Equity Market Deal of the Year award from Asian Legal Business.
