With over 13 years of experience in the legal industry, Katy Lau has consistently demonstrated intellectual curiosity, commercial awareness, and ambition. Her innovative approach to legal and compliance work has earned her two outstanding employee awards, and she has played a crucial role in reforming insider trading policy and managing the operations of the private equity fund.

As the legal head of a business unit of a large Chinese tech giant, she maintains a balanced approach in setting legal and compliance standards. She has been instrumental in revamping legal and operational policies and procedures, thereby improving corporate governance and fund performance.

Her contributions extend beyond her work, with a keen interest in Lawtech and Regtech. She is a member of the LITE Lab/ TCLP Climate Clause Project and has been an advisory member of two committees of the Office of Communication Authority.
