After qualifying as a lawyer in Hong Kong and specializing in corporate affairs, she broadened her expertise by qualifying in three additional jurisdictions, including New York. Her pursuit of excellence led her to a part-time MBA program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a scholarship at the Harvard School of Public Health, where she also dabbled in law courses.

Amelia's achievements over the past year are nothing short of impressive. Not only did she continue her rigorous private law firm work, but she also became the first private law representative seconded at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) for six months. There, she pioneered research on personalized medicine and coordinated diplomatic visits, elevating her reputation in international circles. Additionally, she contributed to the groundbreaking Asia-Pacific Private International Law Summit in November 2022, solidifying her role as a transformative figure in the legal landscape.

Leadership and community engagement are Amelia’s fortes. She co-founded her current firm's Healthcare Department and serves as an Honorary Legal Advisor for NGOs. Her efforts extend to educating future lawyers as a guest lecturer at Peking University, and mentoring students from HKU to Harvard.
