Susan believes that a lawyer should be able to practice legal knowledge in a real business context. As such, prior to her legal practice, Susan worked in a top-tier multinational company secretarial firm providing services to over 40% of the Fortune Global 500 companies.

With Susan’s enthusiasm in the corporate and commercial world, she joined Fairbairn Catley Low & Kong and subsequently Miao & Co. to further her career as a corporate lawyer. During Susan’s time in the private sector, she advised on numerous equity and debt capital market transactions. She was also heavily involved in over 15 listing cases on Main Board and GEM Board for over four years. In 2020, Susan’s hunger to learn and practice in the commercial world takes her to Alibaba Group. Here, she oversees legal compliance matters for 20 countries, including but not limited to countries in the Asia Pacific and Europe.

Outside of Alibaba, Susan was the President of Junior Chamber International Bauhinia in 2021. During her year of presidency, she successfully lined up 73 strategic partners (including government departments, business sectors and NGOs) and 17 overseas chapters, and she also raised HK480,000 for operations. The achievement was reported in over 62 newspaper articles, radio news and television news. Her extraordinary management philosophy has led her to win the “Most Outstanding President” and “Most Outstanding Local Organization” in the National Convention of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Hong Kong.

Susan認為，律師應該能夠在真實的商業環境中實踐法律知識。因此，在從事法律工作之前，Susan 曾在一家頂級跨國公司秘書事務所工作，為超過 40% 的《財富》世界 500 強公司提供服務。
