Guan Wang graduated from Beijing Normal University with a degree in Law and International Trade, and she went on to achieve the Master of Laws at New York University. Wang is qualified to practise law in both the PRC and the New York State in the United States. Wang has been a practising lawyer in the most prestigious law firms in Asia: King & Wood Mallesons and Jingtian & Gongcheng. She is responsible for investment, financing and corporate governance. Currently, Ms. Wang is a Partner at the Jingtian & Gongcheng Law Firm as well as the Vice President of the NYU Alumni Club in South China.

In April 2022, Ms. Wang led a team to assist Winner Medical Co., Ltd. in successfully acquiring 100% equity in a state-owned company with an investment amount of RMB 450 million. As the investor's lawyer, Ms. Wang and her team drafted and negotiated the Letter of Intent and the Equity Transfer Agreement, coordinated with the equity transfer exchanges and advised on settlements of employees of the state-owned company to complete the transaction. Ms. Wang’s capability is also proven in the case of OPPO Guangdong Mobile Communication Co., Ltd.’s successful investment in Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Battery Co., Ltd. in January 2022. This investment project concerning the lithium battery industry involved RMB 200 million with post monetary valuation of RMB 16 billion. Ms. Wang and her team assisted the client with negotiations, reviewing the third-party due diligence reports as well as revising the Capital Increase Agreement and the Shareholders' Agreement. In both cases, the successful projects attracted significant media attention.

In addition to her career achievements, Ms. Wang is also passionate about charity work. She has assumed management roles in various Non-Profit Organisations in Japan and China and helped companies develop corporate social responsibility projects.
