Nicole Corpuz

Hi all! I am Nicole, a penultimate year LLB student at City University of Hong Kong. I am a Hong Kong born Filipino, which explains why my last name is hard to pronounce.

I enjoy doing legal research, especially in the areas of technology, namely how technology affects the evidential proof of current laws, and how new tech creates new data protection and data transfer regulations. I enjoy this area the most as it has little to no case law, and is closely related to computer science, a field that I have no talent in but interests me.

Apart from the law and my studies, I enjoy a variety of activities, from hiking and photography to dancing and magic, just to add some color to my life and have something to do when I procrastinate.
