Introduction

The LexisNexis Student Ambassador Programme endeavours to support law students with extensive LexisNexis training, from which they could confidently support their peers on LexisNexis platforms.

This offers the student ambassadors exclusive opportunities to network with legal practitioners from all sectors through LexisNexis marketing and networking activities. In addition, the champion of this programme will have a job shadowing opportunity with LexisNexis senior management across departments to gain a better understanding of the work carried out in an international legal content provider.

Networking opportunities at get-together activities with the peers and alumni of student ambassadors

Roles and Responsibilities

Attend compulsory training sessions in August/September 2022 to gain an understanding of legal research skills and LexisNexis products and solutions
Plan and organise 1-2 training sessions per semester for law students on how to conduct legal research on LexisNexis platforms
Assist fellow law students by answering queries about legal research on LexisNexis platforms over the course of the academic year
Cooperate with other student ambassadors from other universities on joint university events to raise awareness of LexisNexis in law schools
Present and share your student ambassador life and experience with us

Joining the LexisNexis Student Ambassador Programme 2018-19 was a valuable and rewarding experience. Apart from building up my network with law students from different universities, the research skills I mastered through the training sessions enable me to utilise LexisNexis in my studies as well as my internship with law firms. I am well-equipped for my legal career.
