Chung is an IP lawyer with extensive commercial experience. In 2015, Chung  joined the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department (IPD) as a Solicitor as it would allow her to participate in formulating IP policies instead of merely advising on them. Since then, Chung has been facilitating the government in policy-making and legislative decisions. Her job nature requires her to wear a lot of hats, such as a lobbyist and a marketer. With dedication and adaptability, she was promoted to Senior Solicitor in 2016.

An example of Chung’s achievement is her involvement in the negotiation of the complex broadcasting agreements pertaining to the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020 in Hong Kong (HK). This contract vetting exercise was unprecedented, since this was the first time the government (rather than a private broadcaster) had purchased the broadcasting rights of the Games in HK. She also set a precedent for other hearing officers in issuing interlocutory trade mark decisions.  To promote public awareness in IP protection, she has been a speaker for various seminars.

On the international front, Chung has prepared responses to HCCH-WIPO Questionnaire on Identifying Actual and Practical Issues of Private International Law in Cross-Border IP Dealings on behalf of HK. This was the first time an international organisation has asked HK for such information. Her inputs would have a bearing on the formulation of international policies and legislative frameworks on IP law. Chung has also represented HK to attend international conferences, such as APEC’s First Senior Officials' Meeting, in 2022.

鍾趣之是一名知識產權律師，擁有豐富的商業經驗。 2015 年，鍾律師加入香港知識產權署 (IPD) 擔任律師，因為這將允許她參與制定知識產權政策，而不僅僅是提供法律意見。從那時起，鍾律師一直在協助政府制定政策和立法決策。她的工作性質要求她身兼數職，例如說客和營銷人員。憑藉奉獻精神和適應能力，她於 2016 年晉升為高級律師。

鍾律師取得成就的一個例子是，她參與了有關2020年香港東京奧運會和殘奧會廣播協議的談判。由於這是政府（而非私人廣播商）首次在香港購買奧運會轉播權，此次合同審查是史無前例的。她還為其他聆訊人員就發出非正審商標判決開創了先例。 為提高公眾對知識產權保護的認識，她曾擔任各種研討會的講者。

在國際方面，鍾律師代表香港準備了對《海牙國際私法會議及世界知識產權組織關於識別跨境知識產權交易中國際私法的實際問題的調查問卷》的回覆。這是國際組織首次要求香港提供此類信息。她的意見將對知識產權法的國際政策和立法框架的制定產生影響。鍾律師亦曾代表香港出席2022年亞太經合組織第一次高官會等國際會議。
