Arthur Law’s sterling qualities were recognised since his student days. He was elected twice to the Academic Senate at Macquarie University, Sydney (Australia), and is a member of the exclusive Golden Key International Honour Society where he was elected as President of the Macquarie University Chapter.

He also won exchange scholarship awards which sent him to study in Beijing and Hong Kong.

Eight years after qualifying as a solicitor he was promoted to General Counsel & Company Secretary, at Forgame Holdings Limited (HKEX: 484), aged 31.

Next, as Legal Counsel, he took responsibility for Alibaba Group’s (NYSE: BABA; HKEX: 9988) international cloud computing, online travel platform and IT equipment procurement business.

After that, he became the General Counsel of Meitu, Inc. (HKEX: 1357). Their innovative photo and community apps (including the Meitu app, BeautyCam and AirBrush) are enjoyed by 230.6 million monthly active users worldwide.

Meitu also operates a smart hardware business that creates artificial intelligence products for analysing and enhancing skin appearance.

Arthur assisted in developing and growing these two businesses by providing legal support and trainings. He has helped to set up separate holding structures and variable interest entity structures while gaining regulatory approvals.

His input contributed to Meitu’s 2021 revenue growing 39.5% year-on-year to approximately RMB1.7 billion; the VIP subscription and image software businesses doubled their customers to 4 million as at the end of 2021, growing 146.9% year-on-year.

Arthur works hard to elevate technological innovation in the legal sector and is a member of the InnoTech Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong.

His personal community betterment services include school talks, media content, and free legal consultations.

之後，作為法律顧問，他負責阿里巴巴集團（紐交所：BABA；港交所：9988）的國際雲計算、在線旅遊平台和IT設備採購業務。

此後，他成為美圖公司（港交所：1357）的首席法律顧問。他們的創新照片和社區應用程序（包括美圖秀秀應用程序、美顔相機和 AirBrush）在全球每月有2.306億活躍用戶使用。

美圖還經營智能硬件業務，開發用於分析和增強皮膚外觀的人工智能產品。Arthur通過提供法律支持和培訓協助發展這兩項業務。他幫助建立了獨立的控股架構和可變利益實體結構，同時獲得了監管部門的批准。

他的貢獻推動美圖2021年收入同比增長39.5%至約人民幣17億元；截至2021年年底，VIP 訂閱和圖像軟件業務的客戶翻了一番，達到400萬，同比增長146.9%。

Arthur致力提升法律界的創新科技，是香港律師會創新科技委員會的成員。
