Anthony Pang is at the vanguard of multiple Hong Kong legal industry firsts, and his peers and clients describe him as a first-rate counsel. He’s the go-to lawyer for corporate matters in China's leading ‘new economy’ companies.

He's played a role in many complicated, significant and high-profile Hong Kong IPOs including Xiaomi's US$5.4 billion IPO, the first-ever offering to adopt a dual-class share structure.

His exceptional client service and meticulous attention to detail in executing the Cogobuy HKIPO led to Skadden receiving the FT's Innovation in Finance Law for International firms.

Appropriate for working with innovative companies, he's known as an out-of-the-box thinker. He even persuaded HK regulators to accept the listing of the loss-making Meitu technology company.

He was involved in more firsts including the world’s first ‘insuretech’ IPO by ZhongAn Insurance, and the first finance-leasing company listing in Hong Kong, by Far East Horizon Limited.

Over the last 12 months, he’s advised on Hong Kong IPOs and other securities aggregately valued at over US$12 billion. These include representations for Bairong's US$507 million HKIPO, Meiutaun's US$6.6 billion share top-up placement, and Yidu Technology’s US$531 million HKIPO.

Despite Mr. Pang's upward trajectory he still finds time to maintain morale, assist junior members, conduct workshops, and socialise. He’s close to his team, and colleagues call him '"the voice of the attorneys" with senior management.

He contributes to key industry reports, responds to consultation papers, and writes articles. He received a Bronze Award for pro bono services from the Law Society of Hong Kong.
